Pobeda says plans to protect fleet using legal means

MOSCOW, Mar 1 (PRIME) -- Russian low-cost airline Pobeda, part of the Aeroflot Group, will protect its fleet using legal means and does not plan to suspend operations, Alexei Tankevich, director for legal affairs, told the Federation Council on Tuesday.

“We are doing everything in order to keep the company afloat. We do not expect a stop of its activities. We will protect our fleet using legal means," he said.

The E.U. published sanctions against Russia last week prohibiting to deliver aircraft and spare parts to the country. According to media reports, the current contracts will be suspended.
